I cut away the center post at the back of the utility strap to create a second bar to increase the strap resistance.
The setup of the stock straps always seemed to loosen and could easily be pulled in most directions.

I then inserted the strap into the new opening that was made and up through the hole nearest the teeth of the clip.

Then back down and through.

Now the strap is doubled up on itself when it exits the new hole.
